CONTRÔLE CONTINU STUDENTS:

1st Short Test: Nov 12 (around 20-25 minutes)

1st Main Exam: Nov 19 (around 80 minutes)

2nd Main Exam: Dec 10 (around 80 minutes) 

2nd Short Vocab Test: Dec 17 (around 20-25 minutes)

CONTRÔLE FINAL STUDENTS: Dec 10 (around 80 minutes)

REMINDERS:

1/ There will be no catch-up session whatsoever even if you have a valid and sincere justification.

2/ Please, do arrive on time if not in advance!

M2 Class: 1st Short Test / Homework

The 1st vocab test (around 20 minutes) will take place on November 12 and will cover:

- Idioms (animals)

- False friends: ex 1, 2 and 3

- Phrasal verbs (Unit 145, 144, 143)

- There will be a short listening comprehension exercise

Homework for Nov 05:

- Listening comprehension: Test 1

- False Friends: exercise 4 (1st column)

- Gram: Unit 41 (ex 2 and 4) and Unit 142 (ex 2 and 3)

- Idioms: Animals (#17 to #36)

M1 Class: 1st Short Vocab Test / Homework

The 1st vocab test (around 20 minutes) will take place on November 05 and will cover:

- Media vocabulary: up to page 4 (included) 
- False friends: ex 1, 2 and 3 
- Reading comprehension texts vocabualry: 

- Pottery production in Akrotiri 
- Networking 
- Recovering a damaged reputation 
- History of advertising

Homework for Nov 05:

- America 's oldest art (reading comprehension + vocabulary) 
- Grammar (in translation):

- Unit 39: ex 3

- Unit 40 ex 1, 2 and 3

- Unit 41: ex 2, 3 and 4

Oct 15: no class for the M2 group only (afternoon class)

M2 students: as I said last Tuesday, I won't be able to have class in the afternoon, if possible, we will try to catch  up some time during the semester. Next class: Oct 22.

M1 students: Since the class is in the morning, I will be there!

M1 - M2 Groups: EXAMS Dates / Contrôle Continu / Contrôle Final

M1 "contrôle continu" students will have: 

 - 2 main exams (around 80 minutes):

          - 1st main exam: 30%

         - 2nd main exam: 40%, the 2nd Main Exam is scheduled for

          December 10

 - 2 short tests (around 20 minutes): 15% each, the 2nd Short Test is

    scheduled for  December 17

M1 "contrôle final" students 

M1 Students who wish to be in "contrôle final" will take the "contrôle continu" students' 2nd main exam scheduled for December 10

M2 "contrôle continu" students will have:

           - 2 main exams (around 80 minutes):

          - 1st main exam: 30%

         - 2nd main exam: 40%, the 2nd Main Exam is scheduled for

         December 10

 - 2 short tests (around 20 minutes): 15% each, the 2nd Short Test is

              scheduled for  December 17

M2 "contrôle final" students:

M2 students who wish to be in "contrôle final" will take the "contrôle continu" students' 2nd main exam scheduled for December 10
